The system works by downloading the Phone Halo application to your smartphone and attaching the Phone Halo device to an item that you want to protect (keys, purse, computer bag). The software monitors the distance between the phone and item and if you were to leave either one behind, both will ring to alert you and record the GPS location and time of when and where you lost your item. Additionally, the Phone Halo app will lock your phone so your valuable personal data can't be accessed (lock settings can be personalized). The Phone Halo can also act as a finder: simply hit the button on the app to cause your halo'd item to ring.

The Phone Halo system works with BlackBerry OS 4.5 and Android 2.0 phones.

Love the speakerphone
I received ZOMM from a friend and initially liked it based on the ability to tell me that I had left my phone behind (which I do very often). There are a ton of other features built in to the product that are very useful. Luckily, I haven't had to use the panic alarm/emergency calling function (but am glad to know it's there). What I do love to use is the speakerphone. My phone always seem to be at the bottom of my purse, out of reach when it rings. ZOMM will pick up the call for me and I can talk right into the device - it is really clear. ZOMM is a great little product!

Good but nees one more feature
I bought the White Zomm a few days ago. Zomm connects to the cell phone to with Blue Tooth. The directions given are very easy. I sometimes misplace my cell phone and I end up calling myself from my landline to locate my phone.Pros: There is a feature that beeps when your cell phone is out of distance with the Zomm. I was testing the speaker feature it and recieved a call and clicked on the Zomm. It answers the phone and the speaker is clear to hear the person at the other end of the call even when the Zomm was on a table about a foot or more away. The caller said it was clear too. It has a panic alarm and some other features which I really don't know how to use yet. It depends on how long you hold the center button down.It can answer a phone call or disconnect by sending it to vocie mail if you click twice (I have not tried that yet), When a call comes in it vibrates and lites up. There is only one button, a center button. You get a electic adapter with it and a USB...
